About Us

After leaving his primary industry of 25+ years (theatrical film distribution), Michael moves to Las Vegas and creates an event planning business.  Armed with his self-taught local SEO techniques in a highly competitive market, Michael's business thrived for the next six years.

Becoming burnt out in the Las Vegas market, and after a great run of successes, Michael shutters his event planning business to search for the next chapter in his career. During the next couple of years, he takes on several additional small businesses across the country, performing various SEO services "on the side."

While the side business provided much experience, Michael built a new additional brick and mortar business in the Dallas market - an escape room.  After building all of the puzzles and designing all of the rooms, including various real world technologies, he used his SEO expertise to help the business boom.  However, a worldwide pandemic had other plans for the business, and it was forced to shutter in early 2020.

Michael began working from home full time, using his skills and growing resources to help other businesses achieve their goals during the pandemic and beyond.  It was during this period that Four Star SEO was officially born.  Why not Five Star?  Because Michael believes that we should always strive to do just a little bit better every time and Four Stars leaves room for that improvement and growth.
